Scholarship Funds through the Christian Leaders Link
Christian Leaders Link scholarship funds assist Baptist General Association of Virginia (BGAV) church leaders in accessing training and continuing education opportunities provided through the Southwest Virginia Christian Leaders Link.
The scholarship funds for which you are applying are administered by the director of the Southwest Virginia Christian Leaders Link under the oversight of the Team Leader for the Empowering Leaders team. Application for scholarship funds is made through the included Christian Leaders Link Scholarship Funds application.
Clergy and lay leaders who have a financial need and are endorsed by a BGAV church may apply for a scholarship for up to one-third the cost of an educational offering sponsored by the Network. Provision of scholarship is subject to availability of funds.
The scholarship will be paid to the sponsoring BGAV ministry partner and credited to the applicant's tuition. It is expected that the student, his or her church, and the respective ministry partner will share in the cost of matriculation. The scholarships are intended to assist non-traditional students in off campus programs of study in continuing education for ministry in the local church.
